FX’s miniseries Kindred follows the story of an aspiring writer who uncovers her family’s past secrets and finds herself in and out of time in a 19th-century plantation. Inspired by Octavia E. Butler’s 1979 novel, the mystery series releases exclusively on Hulu on December 13.
Avatar: The Way of Water
For those who have waited patiently for 13 years for the Avatar sequel to come out, the time is finally here. Avatar: The Way of Water will continue Jake Sully’s story on the planet Pandora on a journey to protect the planet alongside the Na’vi race. The film releases on December 16 in theaters.

This American Western drama starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren is one you can’t miss. Set in 1923, the series serves as a prequel to Yellowstone, and a sequel to 1883. The series follows the Dutton family as they navigate their time during the Western Expansion, Prohibition, and Great Depression in Montana. 1923 Premieres on December 18 on Paramount+.
