They were well-finished, well-made objects with an artisan taste that, although belonging to my daily life, were able to release a magical, strange, wonderful aura. " The creative director of Gucci Alessandro Michele explains, « I therefore imagined a small chamber of wonders, a Wunderkammer that could accommodate these elements of everyday life and restore them to a fairytale dimension, like in an Ali Babà cave. I could have included them in the collections for some time, but they weren't closely related to clothing and accessories. So I wanted to build a bizarre container where they can be placed so that that sense of amazement that makes them so dear to me returns to everyday life "
For the occasion, Gucci presents the new campaign created by Max Siedentopf and set at the Sonnino Castle in Tuscany, a 16th century fortress built by the Medici.
