Discover VARMBLIXT, Sabine Marcelis' collection for Ikea
From January 18, 2023, IKEA is moving to rue du Louvre in Paris to exclusively unveil its long-awaited collaboration with Dutch designer Sabine Marcelis.
Poetic and refined, like the work of Sabine Marcelis, the VARMBLIXT collection consists of 20 pieces, including 2 lights already unveiled in preview in Milan during the Salone del Mobile, then in Paris on the occasion of the Paris DesignWeek. Suspension, wall lamp, but also rugs, glasses or coffee tables, the Dutch artist explores the surprising and emotional effects of design and light in interiors. “With VARMBLIXT, I want people to connect more with their home and consider things like lighting that illuminate our atmosphere in a minimalist yet sophisticated way,” commented the artist.
