"The home as the last bastion of intimacy". Recently awarded the Compasso d'Oro Lifetime Achievement Award for its products, the D.154.2 armchair designed by maestro Gio Ponti in 1953 and reissued by Molteni&C as part of the Gio Ponti Collection active since 2012, is back revisited in gold for the holiday season. Here in the classic two-tone version with a cedar green cushion. Characterized by a welcoming enveloping shape, a rigid polyurethane shell, a soft polyurethane countershell and a cushion, it was created as a furnishing accessory for the villa of the Planchart collectors in Caracas in the period 1953-57. One of the projects dearest to the designer.

On the sofa, on the armchair, the designer plaid is one of those textile complements that certainly cannot be missing if, above all, they have an artistic ambition, that is, they are very beautiful to admire like paintings. This is the new capsule collection in collaboration with Draga&Aurel of Somma1867 that releases a series of plaids in merino wool and cashmere yarns woven with great craftsmanship. SOMMA X DRAGA&AUREL includes three in maxi format, inspired by three abstract paintings by Aurel K. Basedow entitled BREEZE, FLUX and BLISS (pictured). These works, characterized by a strong energy and references to American expressionism and action painting, have been faithfully reproduced in jacquard version thanks to the expert work in the factories of the Gabel Group.

The Interni Venosta project by Dimorestudio, Britt Moran and Emiliano Salci, which pays homage to the Italian design of the Seventies and launched at Milan Design Week 2024 , faces autumn with a second timeless drop. Made by the Tuscan manufacturer Fabbri Services, each piece combines classic aesthetics with the geometry of essential lines in a warm and lived-in minimalism. The patina is in fact part of this vision. Here 11, table lamp with polished brass structure treated with diffuser discs in polished steel and aged steel and diffusers in perforated sheet metal painted matt black and amber plexiglass, also adaptable as a wall lamp.

From the Perfumed House Of   Officine Universelle Buly , dedicated to room fragrances, we point out the great return of the scented lantern which uses the heat of a light bulb to spread the aromatic load of a candle. Intriguing parallelism between utility and decoration, ingenuity is added of a timer that allows a discreet and punctual persistence of the perfume and at the same time increases the duration of the candle.

Circular, welcoming, dynamic, elegant. The Moss sofa by Dolce&Gabbana Casa , part of the new Dreaming collection,   It features harmonious and decisive shapes that make it suitable for any space and home. The entire structure captures the eye thanks to the linearity of the long seat that rests on a shiny black nickel metal base. A clear invitation to conversation.

Art de la Table, the autumn trend celebrates nature in all its aspects

Lunches and dinners, small snacks and just a cup of tea. Dressing the table is an art at any size and occasion. Autumn 2024 suggests embracing the moment of foliage, as well as the harvest season, to let yourself be transported by memories and immersions in your roots and traditions. From the dining table to its dressing and decoration.

Ginori 1735 presents the new ADV campaign with Jake Gyllenhaal , the second chapter of a story that, through the actor, celebrates beauty, craftsmanship and creativity, and does so in a special place, Villa Ginori together with the Oriente Italiano collections with which it fuels new ideas for a free and creative mise en place . Viva.

There is nothing more comfortable and practical, not to mention also elegant and beautiful to look at, than a food service trolley during intimate lunches and dinners at home. This one by USM Modular Furniture, USM Haller, arrives among the interior design trends of the fall in a new very pleasant olive green color. In addition to drinks and glasses, it is also possible to use the support surfaces of the trolley for ornaments or magnificent flowers.

With Buccellati Fall Edit, all the magic and enchantment of the woods and autumn are unleashed in the art of the table. Among the proposals of this seasonal launch, we choose the organic shapes of Armatae Flores , a limited and numbered edition of 100 silver artichokes handcrafted in 11 variations that can serve as decorative elements or placeholders together with two silver centerpieces decorated with a garland of Cynara cardunculus scolymus that rests on a silicified wood base. Presented in Venice during the Homo Faber 2024 edition, they evoke and reaffirm the resilience of nature, especially in moments of conviviality.

Finally, the dining table . The Adrien model by Poliform by Jean-Marie Massaud with a classic and archetypal profile but with legs positioned according to an asymmetric criterion, stands out for catalyzing its presence in the room. Made with a wooden top, it is also available in the version with a smooth black marquina marble top and a glossy dark sheer metal structure.

If the passion for collecting is reinterpreted in the furnishings by DRAW Studio for Ceccotti Collezioni, Wonderbox is born, the nude-effect sideboard with which to put the care and "memory of things" on display. From living, to table art, to design. Conceived as a museum display case, it is designed to store and display rare and special objects. While its rectangular structure in solid wood is deliberately reduced to a minimum thickness and available in two versions, with or without a bottom, the interiors are illuminated with LED light to enhance the objects on display.

The magical power of study, a place where work, leisure and research merge

Concentration, silence. Atmosphere, stimulation and relaxation. These are the main characteristics that a place in the house like the study must be able to offer to those who live there. After the pandemic, many reflections have arisen on the quality of the time we spend fixedly in front of the computer screen, a domestic time in smart working, today also extra in addition to the official time spent in the office. Green light therefore to vital color, to strategic light points, to comfortable seats as well as those for taking a break and reflecting on what has just been done. To receive and invite.

The Stilnovo desk lamp with the signature of Shigeaki Asahara cannot be missed in Turin . A model that reflects the history of its creator, with its roots in Japan but with its heart in Turin. A reading lamp, in aluminum, customizable as a study lamp thanks to the articulated arm, a rotatable head with touch dimmer and the possibility of being mounted on a round base, on a clamp or on a wall bracket. Available in 6 colors.

The Graphic coffee tables by Potocco are designed by Mario Ferrarini and Victor Vasilev and developed as an extension of the Keel seating collection in the wake of the same minimal and linear compositional code. The project is interesting because it ties together different materials such as ash wood, metal, marble and waterproof ash wood, metal and natural stone or porcelain stoneware in the version suitable for outdoor use. The colors are ideal for enlivening the study corner.

Hours and hours in front of the computer require a suitable and dedicated seat. Tom Dixon has developed and launched Fat Work Office Chair, a wheeled evolution of the Fat chairs known for being curvy and full-bodied, designed to improve the time spent working at the desk. Here in the red-orange version, it is available in 40 different variants.

A name, a myth for the Snoopy table lamp by Flos created by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1967 and now presented in a brand new navy blue shade after the green and orange versions. This particular finish takes inspiration from the Sciuko range, a spotlight designed by the Castiglionis in 1966 that was very popular at the time. Instead of the original switch and an electronic regulator for varying the intensity of the light in the marble body, a rather modern intuition at the time, today there is an integrated touch dimmer.

It's called Archibald Denim Edition , the latest creation from Poltrona Frau and just launched on the market with online exclusivity. A historic and iconic armchair designed by Jean-Marie Massaud in 2009 that is back in the limelight thanks to a decidedly urban "dress" covering, denim. In organic cotton jacquard, it features the same twill weave as Ever-Denim wash jeans, which at the same time makes it even more resistant to wear. Every detail recalls denim trousers, from the double stitching and yellow felled seams to the antiqued bronze base to reference the rivets and hardware of the legendary five pockets. The Cuoio Saddle label with the heat-stamped logo is the best touch.

Interior sleeping area: how to make the bedroom a true oasis of relaxation

This is the most private room in the house because it is dedicated to rest and intimacy. The interior trends of autumn 2024 for the sleeping area recall the warm and reassuring tones of the winter palette as well as the selection of sensorial and enveloping materials. The nuances of the undergrowth, the glow of a candle, white.

“A Tribute To Cini Boeri” is the title of the Loro Piana Interiors installation that pays homage to the work and thought of Cini Boeri , the great Milanese architect and designer, on the centenary of her birth, which also coincides with the first 100 years since the foundation of Loro Piana. Presented during the April 2024 Design Week, the collection features iconic pieces designed by Boeri, made by Arflex and dressed with the Maison’s Interiors fabrics. Here, the sinuous Botolo chairs wear the soft Cashfur in cashmere and silk in a special color within a limited and numbered series of 100 pieces.

SolidNature EDITIONS includes the new editions of Fragrance Candles created by the Dutch brand , expert in large-scale stone processing. They are not just decorative objects, but real works of art that combine the transparency of onyx with glass and fragrance. The interior essences, composed of 39 notes, are inspired by the complexity and multiple layers of natural stones to create a unique atmosphere and thus transform any environment into a place of elegance and well-being. Therefore also ideal for relaxing in the bedroom.

The Fendi Casa pouf, a brand branch born from the vision of Silvia Venturini Fendi , is part of the Fendi F-Affair upholstered furniture family designed by Controvento. obtained from a tight embrace between two warm and immaculate Fs. A harmonious balance between matter and pure form, for a modular and welcoming seat, especially strategic around the fulcrum of the room, that is, the bed.

To sleep in a palette with the autumn interior trend, just look at the Bucolica Collection by Dalfilo , a concrete reference to the colors of nature and the countryside, where the brown EARTH and the green FOREST bring well-being and serenity into the most intimate space of the house. Made of percale, a best-selling fabric, soft and breathable, the sheet set works best if it is combined simultaneously in the two shades.

Danish designer Stine Gam and Italian Enrico Fratesi, of the duo GamFratesi , have signed their first project for the Porro sleeping area : the new Iro bed. An extremely light bed but with imposing dimensions, it has a structure in solid turned ash wood characterized in the perimeter by the angular joint in support, typical of the wooden houses of the Alps as well as Japanese joints. The headboard, on the other hand, is soft because it is composed of two large cushions covered in leather, fabric or, if desired, in eco-leather.

The interior trend of autumn 2024 dresses the walls with wallpapers and textures

Finally, the details that make the difference when making changes to the home environment. A wall or a portion is enough to radically change the look of the room and spaces, even if small. From wallpaper to a textured covering, there are many and very effective solutions.

Ken Scott Unconventional is the name of the new edition by Inkiostro Bianco, consisting of 6 new wallpaper themes inspired by the creativity and heritage of the American designer . An exclusive collaboration with a shared vision: to create spaces that reflect the personality and spirit of those who live there. The patterns in the collection represent a   fusion between fashion and interior design: here the green motif blends the three themes Vanity, Bloom and Zigano in an eclectic yet harmonious mix.

American Gen Zs are crazy about it. Woe betide if their bedroom or study isn’t adorned with a wall covered in Gucci wallpaper. Here we see an example inspired by the Maison’s ready-to-wear collections with a flock of white herons and dragonflies with a green background on non-woven fabric available in pairs of panels measuring L 70 cm x H 3.5 m each.

It looks like paper but it isn't. The unmistakable signature of Paola Paronetto is expressed in new proportions in Homey Paper Clay, the collection of decorative ceramic surfaces by Ceramiche Piemme that captures light and returns it in an infinite game of reflections and shadows. Both in the bathroom and in other areas of the home. Available in a very delicate palette such as powder, sand, green, avio, cloud, snow, moss and anthracite, it is the new idea that we hadn't thought of yet.
