As the year draws to a close, Pantone color institute traditionally presents the next year's main color, which is not only established in fashion, interior or beauty trends, but also reflects global current events of the recent era.
The color of the year 2022 was announced as a blue-violet shade "Very Peri" (code: PANTONE 17-3938). This color has become a symbol of self-confidence, courage and curiosity. According to the Pantone color institute, bluish-violet symbolizes the creative spirit of each of us, the desire to know, invites us to discover new opportunities, to be interested, not to stand still and open a new page where we want to create our future.
Pantone will soon announce the new color of 2023, but for now it is still a secret. However, on its Instagram profile, the institute shared hints and presented several colors that claim to become the main color of 2023.
One of them is a reddish-pink called "Honeysuckle" (PANTONE 18-2120). It is a vibrant and encouraging pink color that gives you self-confidence, inspires you to overcome life's challenges and encourages you to get rid of gloomy thoughts.
The second contender color is the warm orange Tangerine Tango (PANTONE 17-1463). This energetic pink-orange shade gives vitality, energizes and as if "charges" our weakening batteries, urges us to keep moving forward and never stop.
The third is a vital and fresh emerald green "Emerald" (PANTONE 17-5641). According to Pantone, this color stands out for its vibrancy, radiance and richness, all of which reflect a positive attitude, a desire to improve and draw energy from the ever-renewing nature.
