She debuted at New York Fashion Week when she walked for Desigual, which was a pivotal moment in her career. However, it wasn’t until Hadid walked for the Chanel Spring/Summer 2016 Haute Couture show that she solidified herself as one of the top models of the new generation. After just two years strutting the runways of Tom Ford, Chanel, Givenchy, and more, in 2016, she was named Model of the Year by industry professionals and made a name of herself after breaking the record for most Vogue September covers in one year, a title that was previously held by Doutzen Kroes.
