In the setting of the fashion show Bottega Veneta you can breathe a burnt air, the result of a collaboration with the Fondation Le Corbusier . «Mine is an idea of resilience: the cactus grows where nothing else can grow. I would like the floor to be seen as this landscape; the parade might have a sense of introspection, but with a sense of resilience and hope. It is a trial by fire that is passed. In the Bottega Veneta co-ed collection presented at Milan Fashion Week, embellishments are reduced to a minimum to give space to the simplicity and craftsmanship of the materials, which have always been the focus of the Italian brand. Jersey suits, knitwear that solidifies on the shoulders almost taking on the structure of a blazer, timeless wool and cashmere coats parade. Leather becomes safety, it is comfortable, soft and ensures protection for the body with red trench coats, soft suede outerwear, skirts and daywear trousers designed to withstand the tests of time. The warm, burnt and enveloping palette sampled by Matthieu Blazy is made up of carbon black, sienna, amaranth, dark, olive, ash gray and white; while for the prints, in addition to the garments stamped and scribbled with writings, the new protagonists are the snake, the flame and the flower, symbols of rebirth.
