Carolina Herrera's Flowery Winter Garden
Wes Gordon reinvents Carolina Herrera's legacy by combining exuberant florals and contemporary tailoring.
The Carolina Herrera Autumn/Winter 2025-26 show, designed by Wes Gordon , is a perfect example of his ability to navigate the brand's heritage and modernity. Wes Gordon manages to bring the classic codes of the House up to date, while infusing them with his own vision. He skillfully plays with the idea of the brand's timeless femininity, but with a contemporary twist. This show is a true homage to nature, where flowers are not only an inspiration, but become an integral part of the very construction of the garments. Cut-out flowers, delicately applied to sophisticated tailoring pieces, create a touch of lightness while maintaining a certain rigor in the silhouette. The 3D flowers, which almost seem to emerge from the fabric, add a tactile dimension to the creations, while brocades and jacquards decorated with floral motifs or small printed flowers visually enrich each piece. This rich botanical assortment, as exuberant as it is elegant, demonstrates the artistic director's mastery in the art of blending tradition and innovation. Sometimes expected, sometimes surprising, this show for Carolina Herrera embodies a subtle balance between the house's roots and an avant-garde vision, for a contemporary result.
