Chanel and spring in powder shades

Like a New Vague film. This is the Chanel Spring Summer 2023 woman imagined by Virginie Viard . A reference to the film L'Année Dernière à Marienbad, of which Coco designed some costumes, seems to hover throughout the show. There were tweeds, glittering or with ribbons embroidered or adorned with ostrich feathers; the most chic suits, cardigan jackets and short coats that magically seemed to weigh almost nothing; men's knitwear and very girlie shorts, slipped evening dresses, embossed leather with logoed jewel decòr.
They dominate black and ivory, as well as in a range of pastel colors, with very few prints, except for what appear to be black and white photographs. Threads and threads of golden or rhinestone necklaces and drop earrings, clutches and micro-bags flourish; classic slingbacks in sparkling silver or crystal ankle boots with grosgrain bow, which look like socks. A new vision of Chanel, between past and present, which chooses to embrace the diversity of female beauty, showing this collection on a whole variety of body shapes.
