Rome meets London: the Fendi autumn winter 2024 fashion show
Kim Jones, creative director of Fendi's womenswear division, brings the autumn-winter 2024 women's collection on stage at Milan Fashion Week. Special guests at the show also include Alessandra Mastonardi, Jessica Biel and Amber Valletta.
FENDI THE AUTUMN WINTER 2024-25 WOMEN'S SHOW AT MFW
«I was looking at the 1984 in the Fendi archives. The sketches reminded me of the London of that period: the Blitz Kids, the New Romantics, the adoption of workwear, the aristocratic style, and the Japanese one..." says Kim Jones in the press note of the show, "It was a time when British subcultures and styles went global and absorbed global influences. In Fendi 's autumn-winter 2024 women's collection, sophisticated and essential clothes, leather or sheared fur jackets and flowing dresses with well-balanced decorative patterns and graphics are on show. «When I first met Silvia Venturini Fendi, she was wearing a very chic utilitarian dress, almost a safari dress. This gave a fundamental shape to my vision of what Fendi is: it is the way a woman dresses who has something substantial to do. And that he can have fun while doing it."
The collection is a perfect match between indoor and outdoor, minimal and bold, utilitarian and glamourous.
