Fendi Spring Summer 2025 Show Marks: “A Century of History”
Kim Jones at Milan Fashion Week presents the women's collection that celebrates 100 years of the Maison founded in Rome by Adele Fendi. Among the special guests seated in the first row are Marina Abramovic, Aron Piper, Song Hye-kyo and Shailene Woodley.
At the base there is a reflection between fashion and time. Yes, because the Fendi women 's spring summer 2025 show celebrates 100 years of the Roman Maison . A century of history that starts from 1925, the year that coincides with the Paris Expo with the creation of the Eiffel Tower, as well as the year of publication of the novel "The Mrs. Dalloway Reader" by Virginia Wolf, or " The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald. And starting from these twenties characterized by a strong decorativism - or rather Art Deco - Fendi rethinks its wardrobe to celebrate a century of history of the brand.
In a minimal setting a structure composed of cubes occupies the center of the location. The thrills and the weight of the story arrive with the soundtrack by composer Max Richter, which accompanies the voices of Anna Fendi and Silvia Venturini Fendi who told in words a portrait of their mother (and founder of the brand) Adele Casagrande.
Look after look, a collection that amazes with its sophistication, minimalism and the undeniable quality of the LVMH group brand emerges. Kim Jones ' show reveals a balanced pomp, 1920s deco motifs, see-through dresses, seductive transparencies, sophisticated embroidery and essential tailoring. Numerous special guests attended the show: from Marina Abramovic, Shailene Woodley Aron Piper, Song Hye-kyo and Shailene Woodley. The finale is astonishing and impressive. The parallelepiped structure composed of cubes opens up to reveal the collection in its entirety.
