Conceived by <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/hommes/dior-paris-men-s-fashion-week-by-kim-jones-rudolf-nureyev-ballet" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kim Jones</a> and Silvia Venturini Fendi, &ldquo;Friends of Fendi&rdquo; is a diverse collaborative series that is rooted in friendship. Following the success of Stefani Pilati, the brand has unveiled its next guest collaborator &mdash; Hiroshi Fujiwara, the founder of Fragment and the &ldquo;godfather of streetwear&rdquo;.
&ldquo;I first met Hiroshi Fujiwara in London in 1999 &mdash; and what can I say? He&rsquo;s one of my idols and I love him. He&rsquo;s an instigator of the Japanese club scene, its youth fashion scene and its <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/female-owned-streetwear-brands-misbhv-x-girl" target="_blank" rel="noopener">streetwear</a> scene. I have been in love with Japan for a long time; its influence on me and what I do is huge &mdash; Hiroshi is a major part of that,&rdquo; says Kim Jones, Fendi&rsquo;s artistic director of couture and womenswear.

The multilayered partnership sees not one but two collections. The first, solely between Fendi and FRGMT, reimagines Hiroshi&rsquo;s FRGMT signature on the iconic FF jacquard logo in brown and tobacco along with an eye-catching iteration in yellow. Find the &ldquo;FF Fragment&rdquo; emblazoned on well-loved designs including the ISeeU Small, Baguette, Mini Mon Tresor, as well as a new Baguette shopper and soft hobo bag. A unisex T-shirt with the special logo completes the lineup.
Fujiwara has added Pok&eacute;mon into the mix with a Fendi x FRGMT x Pok&eacute;mon line that highlights three dragon types &mdash; Dragonite, Dragonair and Dratini &mdash; to celebrate the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/lunar-new-year-year-of-the-dragon-fashion-house-collections" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Year of the Dragon</a>. Like the other collection, this three-way collaboration spotlights the Italian House&rsquo;s bags and its emblematic FF logo. Whether they come in the form of inlays and prints on the FF jacquard and FF canvas bases or leather 3D marquetry on the Baguette and mini Baguettes (a favourite of ours), the monsters&rsquo; playful flair comes through.&nbsp;

Looking for a design that&rsquo;s a little more understated? There&rsquo;s the Peekaboo ISeeU Medium in exquisite white croc that features a metal handle and chain strap with Dragonair and Dratini details. But for those who are all about making a strong statement, the special Baguette that&rsquo;s embellished with three micro-beaded Pok&eacute;mon and finished with fringes is made for you. Beyond bags, some of the highlights include a Dragonite collector&rsquo;s item that requires more than 30 hours of workmanship, a Pok&eacute; Ball necklace and a bracelet that opens up to reveal the FF logo. Pok&eacute;mon Go lovers can also find designs from the partnership in the mobile game starting January 4.
