Ferragamo, the Pre-Fall 2023 campaign by Maximilian Davis
Through the shots of Tyler Mitchell, Ferragamo presents the pre-fall 2023 campaign conceived by creative director Maximilian Davis and inspired by the aesthetic imagery of the maison created by Salvatore Ferragamo.
«I wanted to explore the essential elements of the contemporary, from denim to eveningwear» said the creative director of Ferragamo, Maximilian Davis, presenting the pre-fall 2023 campaign. «I started from the classics of the daily wardrobe to overturn or subvert them with fabrics and materials that make them more modern and unexpected» . An idea that is also found in the campaign created by Tyler Mitchell. The images are a fresh and engaging reflection of the Ferragamo universe. « I grew up with Tyler,» Maximilian Davis tells us again, «we are part of the same community and we have always wanted to collaborate on a common project». Hollywood glamour is revisited with a casual attitude: the minimal silhouette of a bustier dress is declined in gold laminated eel leather, while the Rainbow sandal by Ferragamo , designed for the first time in 1938 for Judy Garland , is now reinterpreted in a monochrome. New interpretations of the Ferragamo bag with cut-out details - now finished with leather interiors - and seasonal variations of the Wanda bag appear everywhere as timeless signs of Ferragamo 's new era.
