The Palace, a place dear to the couturier who would follow him all his life: from the age of 16, he spent most of his nights there, while his career was clearly taking shape between the aisles of this old 17th century theater century, which later became a hotspot for Parisian nightlife. Considered the French version of <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/best-looks-studio-54-70s-fashion-style-elton-john-cher-grace-jones" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Studio 54</a> in New York, all communities mixed freely there during masked balls or shows, from Yves Saint Laurent to Grace Jones, from Prince to Andy Warhol, or even Karl Lagerfeld, Serge Gainsbourg , Mick Jagger, Jerry Hall and many others, before going down to the basement to dance at Privilege.
For "The Palace collection, Paris Syndrome", <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/celine-show-los-angeles-autumn-winter-2023-collection-photo-look" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hedi Slimane</a> was therefore inspired by his long nights of partying, but above all immersed himself in the sounds of the electro-rock scene of the 2000s, thus paying homage to the group Suicide, who imagined an exclusive piece for the occasion, and continues today to intrigue the new generation. She will then find narrow leather pants, and studded biker jackets - sometimes rhinestones - to go with it. Coats are worn oversize, cut in cashmere or English tweeds, while the usual suits are seen here slightly revised, worn with flared pants cut shorter.
