Milan Fashion Week: the latest news and men's fashion shows for Spring Summer 2024
From 16 to 20 June Milan Fashion Week starts again with the spring summer 2024 men's fashion shows. In the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana calendar, Valentino will open the new round up of fashion shows while Zegna will close it.
The spotlight is on Milan from 16 to 20 June 2023. A new edition of the men's fashion week is on its way. Camera Nazionale della Moda has just unveiled the Milan Fashion Week calendar with 22 physical and 5 digital fashion shows (all on Tuesday 20 June), 34 presentations and 11 additional events for a total of 72 appointments. «Valentino's important return opens a calendar that sees sixty-seven physical events in four days, closed by the ZEGNA fashion show. Tuesday 20th is entirely dedicated to digital content, visible throughout the world through our platform. The ninth edition of the Fashion Film will also take place during the fashion week, Festival Milano, which will continue the story of the significant synergy between fashion and cinema, actively involving the public and the city of Milan» says the President of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, Carlo Capasa in during the press conference. Among the pronounced numbers, the growth in turnover stands out, 14% in the first two months of 2023, compared to the first two months of last year.
THE RETURNS AND NEWS OF THE MILAN FASHION WEEK
In addition to Valentino 's return to Milan Fashion Week - which will present a fashion show with a focus on the men's wardrobe - Neil Barrett will also return to shows, while the American Ralph Lauren Purple Label will be present with a presentation. The British creatives JW Anderson who recently also inaugurated the first flagship store in Milan and the Scottish Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY also reconfirm. The brand is also on the calendar for the first time Andersson Bell and will present the brands for the first time on the calendar Maccapani, Maison Laponte, Marcello Pipitone – Bonola, Mcm, Setchu and Skin of Nature.
In conjunction with the men's fashion week Fashion Film Festival Milano (FFFMilano) will also be presented which celebrates its ninth edition with numerous physical and digital events from 12 to 19 June. An event in collaboration with CNMI that will present the new fashion films with a prominent jury. In the press conference, the founder Costanza Etro Cavalli reaffirms the leadership of the Made in Italy festival with the idea of presenting the first streaming platform dedicated to fashion films and bringing the FFFMilano into the metaverse.
