After recently appointed Image and Art Director Ibrahim Kamara , former Editor in Chief of Dazed and head of styling for Louis Vuitton's menswear shows, debuted with the first Off-White show in September, the brand founded by Virgil Abloh has third collaboration with Church's unveiled. The result is a stylistic intersection between the craftsmanship of English shoemaking and Abloh's “Question Everything” philosophy. The Shannon Cut Lines takes up the derby originally created in 1970, and is made with a single piece of leather that features a hand-stitched seam on the edge of the eyelets. A design edited with the motifs that reproduce the cutting lines of the modeling and the leather tag that immediately returns the author's touch . "A remastering of a classic" , to quote the words used by the founder. For the third edition of the capsule, Burwood Foam is also involved, the brogue built to allow water to drain from the perforations of the shoe in case of rain. A chuncky version with a thick sponge-effect rubber sole and fuchsia laces decorated with repeating “laces” quotes. For the launch, which took place during the Frieze Art Fair Week , London's St. John Smith Square has been transformed into a jazz club called "Imaginary Club" where Yussef Dayes, CKTRL, George Riley, DJ Zakia and DJ Judah Afriyie performed .
