Paul Smith at Paris Fashion Week
Inspired "by modernist designers and architects" Paul Smith's autumn winter 2023-24 collection shows new interpretations of tailoring, a contemporary reinterpretation of traditional fabrics and a collage of abstract prints.
Paul Smith 's Fall Winter 2023-24 collection explores the brand's sartorial heritage and experience in prints. The starting point for the abstract prints " comes from a collection of antique carpets and fabrics" says Paul Smith . The "Rug" print on shirts and knitwear is a patchwork of different motifs, textures and flowers
Like the modernist movement that inspired it, the collection's silhouette features sharp, geometric lines paired with softer lines. Paul Smith 's fall winter 2023-24 season palette features striking breaks of black, grey, white and a vibrant cobalt blue that serve as a graphic contrast to the warmth of the basic autumnal scheme, composed of three colours: burgundy brown and mauve.
The show also marks the debut of the Mulberry x Paul Smith Fall/Winter 2023-24 bag collection. A celebration of both brands' British heritage and commitment to craftsmanship . The capsule also includes two new models: the Antony Clip and the Antony Tote. Each model is made in the UK by Mulberry in Somerset with zero emissions with leathers sourced from Gold Standard tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group.
