For the fall winter 2023-24 women's collection, Prada defines the essence of everyday elegance, designed not to amaze, but to dress.
Bare atmosphere, vaguely claustrophobic low ceiling, minimal lights. This is how the Prada venue for the autumn-winter 2023-24 collection presents itself, a deliberate replica of the setting of the men's show only that as the first model advances on the platform, the gray roof rises to reveal a delicate flowering of white lilies which embrace the orange columns. Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons , a now consolidated pairing that is making the brand fly to the top of international buzz, entrust the scenography with an extra touch of delicacy. While on the catwalk there was an essentiality with sometimes romantic, sometimes military accents, almost always with a touch of masculine reinterpreted in a Prada-chic key.

The simplicity of a crew neck sweater is softened thanks to the candid flared skirts with three-dimensional decorations. On top, the look is completed by a jacket that couldn't be more mannish, oversized and crumpled enough to give it a lived-in flavor, on the arm there is a trapeze bag in soft pastel nuances and on the feet low-heeled décolletée, if not very low, with scrolls of leather that hover over the front. The skirts can also be micro, or screwed around the body, or still give way to tapered trousers with a high waist completed by army green shirts. The dresses are sleeveless, close-fitting, devoid of any frills, perfect to be transposed into everyday life, perhaps combined with coats fastened on the front and enriched on the back by a camber blocked at mid-thigh.
