PUMA kicks off NYFW
PUMA presented "Welcome To The Amazing Mostro Show", a convention-defying experience to kick off New York Fashion Week.
Presented in New York's historic Park Avenue Armory, the PUMA fashion show transformed the space with light shows, projections, experiential elements and a musical performance by Eartheater to celebrate the return of the Mostro , a low-top sneaker whose the singularity stands out.
Originally launched in 1999, “Mostro” comes from the Italian term “monster.” Taken from PUMA 's historic archives, this low-top sneaker features defining features like a signature spiked sole and versatile strap closure. Led by Alastair McKimm and Heiko Desens, Global Creative Director at PUMA , the brand presented a selection of custom and commercial pieces from its upcoming Autumn-Winter 2024 collections — designed to match the fashion piece flagship of the parade, the Mostro . Innovative at its launch and a true work of art today, the Mostro highlights the PUMA brand's position at the intersection of sport and fashion.
Among the renowned guests spotted at the fashion show, we were able to meet Emily Ratajkowski , Ashley Graham, Becky G, Hari Nef, Eartheater, GloRilla, Rickey Thompson, Yvesmark Chery, Stephanie Hui, Coco Bassey and Harry Hill .
