Paris street style: the best of men's fashion week
Earthy tones, tailoring and over-the-counter pieces are highlights of Paris street style during the Spring/Summer 2022 season
Paris Men's Fashion Week marks the end of the city's bustling runway season (or a break from Haute Couture in July), and the streets of the fashion capital awre buzzing with intense and diverse looks wherever you turn.
Street style dominated the surroundings of the shows of some of the most famous fashion houses in the world, such as Louis Vuitton, Givenchy and Hermès, giving an extra touch to the trends seen inside the showrooms.
Just like in Milan Men's Fashion Week, we saw that tailoring was also revamped with different cuts, prints and overlapping pieces - regardless of gender. Freedom of movement and comfort were also noticeable in the more oversized choices.
Accessories and shoes were also highlights, with choices ranging from classic all stars, to heavier sneakers and boots, all above the heel. Chains, headdresses and rings completed the looks.
For the colors, the coldest and neutral ones predominated. Black, white, blue and ewarthy tones were the most used, but there were those who invested in stamping, bringing the power of warm colors such as red, yellow and orange. And speaking of prints, floral and psychadelic were the most reached for.
