Rising fashion trend of 2024: The office siren

Since the day TikTok entered our lives, there is no field where it has not affected us, from fashion to cosmetics, from sports to nutrition. It is no longer an intermediary for trends, it is today's trendsetter itself!

Among the TikTok trends that gained momentum with the arrival of 2024, there are many trends such as Grandpacore, Mob Wife Aesthetics, waist bags and the re-rise of the leopard pattern. The Office Siren trend is just one of them. So what are our sources of inspiration? Of course, today's Miu Miu, now "cult" office characters like those created by Gisele Bündchen, an elegant and neutral colour palette and everything that reminds us of the 90s office chic. In short, a corporate look is no longer synonymous with boring.

Unlike trends such as Mermaidcore and Barbiecore, which are a little more open to interpretation, Office Siren's formula seems to be a little more clear. For example, the colour palette is blacks, greys, neutrals, sandy browns and leopard prints that can easily be channeled into high-rise office life. These tones emphasize our idealistic stance in the office. When it comes to clothing models, semi-transparent turtleneck sweaters, pencil skirts, mini but not too mini skirts, rectangular shaped glasses, tights, scarves, boot-cut jeans and skinny-fit trousers are the basic elements of this aesthetic. Flat and sports models are not used for shoes. Instead, boots, stilettos or heeled Mary Janes are preferred. In these pieces, which always look timeless, the focus is not on the clothes but on the gusto of the trend and the elegant and sexy feeling it leaves us with.

Accessories are the most enjoyable part of the job. Thick bracelets in brown or silver colour are the favorite type of bracelets of this trend. For earrings, a flashy pearl design is preferred or kept simple with silver pieces. Necklaces are the same way: stylish silver chokers, long stackable chains or a simple silver charm necklace provide elegance without ever going overboard. It usually comes with a matching ring or two. A plain shoulder bag is not a bad alternative to this combination, but if we want to spice things up a little more, cheetah patterned bag designs will also suit the office siren very well. Of course, black patent leather or dark red pieces can also be preferred.
