Tom Ford presents the Ocean Plastic Sport Camo watch
The brand presents the new camouflage version of the sustainable line of Ocean Plastic Sport watches
Ocean Plastic by Tom Ford Timepieces is the first luxury watch made from 100% recycled plastic bottles from the ocean, coasts and uncontrolled landfills.
The material used in the making of the watch does not contain virgin or non-ocean plastic and is traceable back to the collection source. Transportation of the ocean plastic pellets is carbon neutral and production in Switzerland is powered by solar energy. The equivalent of 35 waste bottles found in the ocean are used to make each Tom Ford Ocean Plastic watch.
Announced in November 2020, the Tom Ford Ocean Plastic Timepiece was the first luxury watch made entirely from ocean plastic. In conjunction with this launch, Tom Ford had partnered with 52HZ for the Tom Ford Plastic Innovation Prize.
