Wedding: all the wedding dresses for 2023
The wedding dresses and looks for the bridesmaids designed for the 2023 wedding season arrive amidst lace, gowns and crystals, sobriety and maximalism
For those planning to get married by 2023, the search for the wedding dress starts in spring . When it comes to choosing the dress and the type of wedding to organize, it is recommended first of all to think about where, how and when. Easy? Not exactly. Long? Maybe unless you leave early and hire a wedding planner.
Often in view of the wedding many couples establish a theme that recurs in the choice of details and setting. There is the destination wedding, the style (country, classic, evening, punk), the adaptation to the location (wedding by the sea, in the church or in the town hall) Now we are talking about personalization. In other words, every bride has the opportunity to translate her daytime style into a wedding version. This is why mini-dresses and tailored suits are included in many of the new proposals. What matters is that from the choice of location to that of the mise en place , from the soundtrack to the menu, the choice of the perfect wedding dress is not dictated by anyone else's choices except the couple.
Playing on the tropes of romance and tradition, Erdem launches the White Collection , a seven-point release of Chantilly lace, floral organza and point d'esprit tulle. The English brand has unveiled the new models of this ready-to-wear bridal collection available all year round on the erdem.com website as well as in the brand's flagship store in Mayfair. The collection consists of delicately embroidered organza dresses with oversized asymmetrical bow detailing, sequined column dresses and an elegant cloqué coat dress. The ethereal silhouettes are inspired by nature, a wedding in perfect bohemian style and with bucolic atmospheres.
Lightness is a constant, with pearly details, long tails of closures allowing the tradition to last, enriching and refreshing it with contemporary details and accessories. Launched for the first time in February 2021, the Erdem White Collection is based on the brand's idea of making bespoke, tailored wedding dresses, for bridesmaids and also for gala occasions.

Imagined in exaggerated and unexpected shapes, from the tailored suit to the tiny dress with bow and detachable train, the pieces are playful and versatile. There are also ideas for bridesmaids, obviously without neglecting the contemporary spirit that guides the brand. The collection is available at major retailers such as: Mytheresa, Luisaviaroma, Browns Fashion, Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, Harrods and Saks Fifth Avenue. Prices range from 140 to 510 euros. Designed to be drop, there will be 3 mini-collections throughout the season until summer.
Long Cocotte is the best-selling dress from the Vivienne Westwood Bridal line with a Victorian flavour. The bodice and neckline are inspired by 18th century high society fashions and the draping of the fabric is reminiscent of ancient Greek statues.
Cora Cocotte: it also takes up the Cocotte "seminal shape" and is a version created to coincide with the 21st birthday of Cora Corrè, granddaughter of Vivienne, from whom it takes its name. This dress also features Vivienne Westwood's signature boned bodice from which a softly draped skirt descends. And it was worn by California, namely Francesca Mesiano of Coma Cose on the stage of the Sanremo final .
Minerva: born as a red carpet dress and then recreated in a white bridal version, the Minerva is a long dress with a sensual silhouette, characterized by a twisted and asymmetrical neckline, which leaves the back bare. The dress, without a corset, wraps around the body and then forms a train.
All three gowns are part of the Vivienne Westwood Bridal Made-To-Order line.
Vera Wang Bride , the iconic brand part of the Pronovias Group, launches its second collection for bridesmaids. The iconic Vera Wang, famous all over the world for her wedding dresses, designed the collection to dress bridesmaids, wedding guests and participants in all kinds of parties. Featuring a total of 54 different looks, this second Bridesmaids collection was personally designed by Wang and marks an exciting new design direction, with innovative silhouettes and colour palettes. The collection is inspired by New York's summer vacation destination, the Hamptons.
The colour palette ranges from muted, deep gem shades to bright neon. Additionally, these new dresses include high and low hemlines, side slits, geometric necklines and cutaway backs, mixing luxe fabrics to create sensual silhouettes. The movement of the flounces gives femininity to the most modern looks inside the skirt, on the neckline and along the whole body. Vera Wang expresses her high fashion signature, proposing the dress divided into two parts.
The dresses in this new collection will be available in all Pronovias & Nicole Milano stores, select retailers worldwide, and select styles sold exclusively online at SAKS.com in the United States.
Danielle Hirsch or Danielle Frankel 's wedding dresses are the most popular and appreciated dresses by American celebs and socialites. Yet her style has also arrived in Europe where she has established herself as an unconventional label. The dresses could not only be understood as wedding dresses, they can in fact look like evening dresses in shades of white, cream and blush pink.
“I hope brides who choose these gowns realize that what they choose to wear defines the spirit of the wedding and that they find something that truly makes them feel like an elevated version of themselves, not something they are unrecognizable,” Danielle explains. And with a variety of silhouettes and colours hand-painted on fabric, the degree of personalization is at an all-time high.
Danielle's creations were worn by several celebrities on their wedding day: from Zoë Kravitz in a cocktail dress with crochet pearls, silk bra and biker shorts, to Alexandra Daddario in a Scarlet dress, in pleated silk wool with Watteau lace and tulle appliques for her wedding in New Orleans.
