Gucci, Sabato De Sarno's first men's campaign photographed by David Sims
The photographs are a hymn to the diversity and beauty of human expression.
Shot by David Sims , Gucci 's autumn-winter 2024-25 campaign is a "hymn to the diversity and beauty of human expression in which every look, every gesture, every intonation tells a different story" . Signed by Sabato De Sarno , the protagonist of the campaign is a cast of top models - including Clément Chabernaud and George Barnett, who walked the catwalks of the most important fashion houses in the early 2000s.
The collection was shown last January at the Fonderia Carlo Macchi in Milan, a transposition of the women's wardrobe presented in September last year. Sabato De Sarno's narrative is made up of garments and accessories «that become objects of desire to celebrate the beauty of life» . Long tailored coats, boxy double-breasted blazers, jewelled bomber jackets and short and long leather outerwear. Some velvet garments reappear - as if to cite Tom Ford's heritage - and Swarovski that fill the necks of knitwear sweaters, denim and sparkling tops.
