At Paris Fashion Week Jonathan Anderson brings a social reflection conveyed through the work of contemporary artist Richard Hawkins with his autumn winter 2024-25 men's collection. Among the special guests in the first row at the Loewe fashion show also Manu Rios, Josh O'Connor, Matt Bomer, Jonathan Bailey, Jamie Dornan, Mike Faist, Ghali and Aron Piper.
LOEWE THE AUTUMN WINTER 2024-25 MEN'S SHOW AT PARIS FASHION WEEK
Starting from a reflection on the social flattening of content, Jonathan Anderson relies on the artistic practice of Richard Hawkins - a Texan artist who explored the male body, prophesying it with the collage technique - for the Loewe autumn-winter 2024-25 men's fashion show . Exotic leather coats with integrated scarves, short leather overalls combined with jackets, check shirts combined with biker-style leather trousers and sophisticated double-breasted pinstripe suits parade on the platform. The Loewe man also wears jacquard sweaters with Nordic patterns or pullovers with braided work, combined with acetate tracksuit trousers, and also stone washed denim shirts with very long bows, leather sweatshirts, shearling jackets, sheepskin coats, long leather coats shaved fur, cashmere wool and leather.
In Loewe's autumn winter 2024-25 men's fashion show, the silhouette remains slim, but with a decidedly lowered waist, emphasized by the belts positioned at leg height. Richard Hawkins ' artwork transforms into jewels, knitted jacquard tunics, trouser and hoodie graphics, and embroidery appearing on oversized Squeeze bags and Puzzle Fold totes.
