At home in Ibiza with Farfetch’s Stephanie Phair
Stephanie Phair OBE is the Group President at Farfetch, the luxury digital marketplace for international fashion, and the former chair of the British Fashion Council. When she’s not at home in London or travelling for work, Phair escapes to her extraordinary coastal villa in the sun-soaked south of Ibiza. L’OFFICIEL IBIZA caught up with the globetrotting fashion force to find out what makes her island world go round.
Home in Ibiza is:
Es Cubells with my family, our extended family and our two rescue dogs. Our style is very much a riff on Tuscan living in the Balearics. The interiors were designed by Studio Antoine, my very talented childhood friend, and the house is smothered in bougainvillea.
My personal style in Ibiza is:
By day, it’s cut-off denim shorts – often by Paige – and simple t-shirt from Madewell, or perhaps a long men’s shirt from SMR Days, worn as sort of kaftan. By night I do love a Nanushka dress – from Farfetch, who actually deliver to Ibiza!
The best swimwear comes from:
I’ve got a sporty Off White one piece I love from Farfetch. I also really love Oysho in Ibiza Town for simple, well-cut one-pieces.
My holiday accessories:
Big gold earrings and lots of bead bracelets. The more the merrier.
My go-to holiday shoes are:
Valentino espadrilles or gold Birkenstock sandals by day. To go out at night I’ll wear pretty Aquazurra flats – it’s such a joy not to have to wear heels.
My skincare must-haves are:
I layer Heliocare SPF 50 onto my face every morning. I love Trinny London’s Tinted Serum and BFF Cream – both brilliant products - and Decree Treat Tincture seems to keep my skin clear and calm despite the sun and salt.
My Ibiza wellness schedule looks like:
A hike to Cala Llentrisca and swim out to catch the view from the water, followed by a facial massage with the amazing Lija.
The first thing I do when I arrive is:
Sit on the garden wall and take in the view. It’s mesmerising.
A shop I always visit is:
Eroski online – it’s the only supermarket that delivers! Clothes I leave to Farfetch, but I do love to shop for interior pieces. Ksar Living and Aquitania were great when we were doing the house.
My dream Ibiza supper is:
At home with neighbours and friends – we love to host in the summer. Otherwise Los Pinos in Es Cubells. It’s a lovely local place, the food is fabulous and it’s so pretty at night when it’s all lit with candles. There’s a resident family of cats that the kids love to pet.
My Ibiza indulgence is:
Having time to really set a table. It never happens in London.
The best Ibiza souvenir I’ve ever bought:
Inca, our family rescue dog from Animales de Alma. There are so many little mutts on the island who need a home.
My ultimate Ibiza memory is:
Our friends’ Bollywood wedding weekend. So much dancing, so many colourful outfits and such joy. And an Enchanted Forest party – that one really blew off the cobwebs and I felt 20 years old again!
