C2C Festival 2022
Cult music festival, a hymn to multiculturalism, is about to begin in Italy: everything is ready for the twentieth, highly anticipated edition.
There was excitement already at the beginning of the year, when the musical event that for twenty years has transformed Turin into the capital of electronic and research music was presented. And to say that the line-up wasn't even complete. Perhaps, after two years of pandemic, there was the need to breathe the typical air of quality entertainment, the one for which it is worth moving to the Savoy capital from everywhere for a long and carefree weekend.
Finally here we are, everything is ready for the Club to Club 2022 , an event dedicated to lovers of superfine clubbing and more, from 3 to 6 November. It will range from experimental electronics to pop, from r & b to jazz, up to rock and rap: a production that promises to be incredible for the lucky ones who will crowd the OGR and the Lingotto , the latter in a new guise. In the red room, in fact, an installation by Anonima Luci - a studio specializing in Lighting Design and Light Art, in collaboration with the BDC Gallery in Parma - will shine and the avenue connecting the two pavilions will be dotted with lasers powered by solar panels.
The first names announced last January were joined by ten other world-famous performers: Caterina Barbieri, Romy, 72-HOUR POST FIGHT - who will perform on the main stage - Blackhaine, Bill Kouligas, Kode9 and the unpublished curation by Nu Genea with Deena Abdelwahed, DJ Plead, My Analog Journal and Nu Genea themselves - who will be among the stars of the Stone Island Sound Stage.
The Stone Island Sound Stage was born with the aim of creating a scenography that went beyond the confines of the classic stage of a music festival, to offer a truly immersive experience. Stone Island, which has been collaborating with C2C for Stone Island Sound since 2020, is the strategic partner of the Festival. This curatorial project was born to support independent contemporary artistic production: a harmonious set of playlists, record releases, environmental soundtracks and live events with the aim of enhancing local scenes and communities and building an ideal world avant-garde sound map. and the new pop. This year the collab was further strengthened thanks to a series of activities and the presence of a dedicated internship.
