The Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney team up on new music

The new Rolling Stones album will be released later this year and will be the first after the death of Charlie Watts

Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney will record a song for the band's next album! Variety magazine revealed that the former Beatle played bass " for an upcoming Rolling Stones project helmed by 2021 Grammy Producer of the Year Andrew Watt."

Also according to the publication, the recordings were done in Los Angeles recently and that McCartney's former bandmate, Ringo Starr, "was also scheduled to play on the yet-to-be-announced album".

Asked about the report, a Stones spokesperson confirmed McCartney as "guest bass on one song" on the album due out in 2023, but said Starr was left out of the project .

The new album will be the first after the death of Charlie Watts, drummer for the Stones. Keith Richards, announced on the social network for fans that “there are some new songs on the way”.
