Is there new Selena Gomez music in the works? Her fans most certainly think so.

There have been subtle hints the multi-hyphenate has left that lead all signs to believe she will be soon dropping her new single, "Single Soon." Alarms were first raised when a website popped up called "I'll Be Single Soon, with nothing but a graphic that reads "Single Soon?" on the main page and an email sign-up that allows you "to receive email updates from Selena Gomez" as stated on the website.

Then, posters started popping up around Dallas, Texas (Gomez's home county) with the same "Single Soon?" graphic and a phone number attached to it. When fans called the phone number, it went straight to voicemail that seemingly sounds like the voicemail of her younger sister, Gracie, who says, "Hi, I love you sissy, never worry about boyfriends at all."

The voicemail is then followed by a 3-second beat of what appears to be the opening of a song.

The speculation continues as Gomez recently posted a photo of herself on her Instagram stories where she is looking down at her phone. If you zoom in on the phone, fans will see the time reads "8:25" leading most to believe she may have just hinted we can expect her new single to release on August 25. More than that, Teragram Ballroom and Club 90s are hosting a Selena Gomez night in Los Angeles on August 26, titled "Single Soon: Selena Gomez Night."

Of course, this is all still speculation as nothing has been confirmed, however, all the subtle hints are enough to believe Gomez is working on something. The last time she gave an update about new music was in mid-June when she posted on Instagram a series of photos of herself recording in the studio.

She captioned the post, "Don’t worry guys, it’s coming. Even from Paris."

In a February interview with Vanity Fair, Gomez gave a little bit of insight into what fans can expect for music comeback.

"If I had my way, I would probably write ballads my whole life, but I want to produce music that will make people smile," she said. "The music I’m doing right now is about real things that I’m walking through. It’s really powerful, strong, very pop. The theme generally is freedom—freedom from relationships, freedom from the darkness. "

Gomez's last proper solo release was in 2020, with her album Rare. The 13-track project had hits such as "Look At Her Now," "Lose You To Love Me," "Crowded Room," and "Kinda Crazy." It received rave reviews, becoming number one in the U.S. and topping charts internationally in countries such as Australia, Belgium, Canada, and Mexico.
