Khloé Kardashian Talks Motherhood, Good American, and Beauty Secrets for L'OFFICIEL

Khloé Kardashian speaks her truth in a cover story for L'OFFICIEL Italia. The socialite and Good American co-founder sits down with her sister Kim Kardashian, and gets candid about her surrogacy journey, comparing herself to her sisters, and deciding what to share with the world and what to keep private as someone who's constantly in the spotlight.
"I want to be remembered as a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, and friend," Kardashian said. "I want to be remembered for the way I made people feel. Maya Angelou was right, in my opinion, when she said, 'I learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.' So my goal in life is to always hope to make people feel seen, appreciated, heard, respected, and loved."
In the Season 3 premiere of The Kardashians, Kardashian opened up about how guilty she felt throughout the surrogacy process and how she felt less connected to her youngest son. While speaking to Kim, she shares how Kim's own experience with surrogacy helped her get through the difficult times and that ultimately she "would never dissuade anyone from trying surrogacy."
"I don't think there is a one size fits all solution to anything. I just wanted to be honest about my experience," Kardashian said. "Even if someone doesn't have the same situation as me to overcome, I don't want anyone to feel alone. I think that's why I'm so vulnerable and transparent, even when it hurts. I want others to feel that they have an ally and that it's okay to feel a certain way."
As a mother of two, she doubles down on her love of being a mum, calling it a job she "takes very seriously" and is grateful to "help shape and train my two children into wonderful members of society."
The entrepreneur also touches on fashion, naming some of her favourite red-carpet looks to date from the designs of LaQuan Smith, Jeremy Scott for Moschino, and when she twinned with Chicago (Kim's third daughter) at Kim's Dolce & Gabbana debut collection. Of course, no fashion moment is finalized with an equally noteworthy beauty look, in which Kardashian shared her biggest beauty secrets.
"I have so many beauty treatments or routines that I love to do that it's hard," she said. "I think the simplest and probably the cheapest beauty tip is petroleum jelly or Aquaphor. I put it all over the eye area before going to bed. I also wear it from the base of my neck to my chest and I never get wrinkles in those areas. I do it every night and I hardly ever skip a night. And if we're talking about something more daring, I'd say that Morpheus (a treatment based on a face and body remodeling radiofrequency, ed) changes the cards on the table."
As Season 3 of The Kardashians goes underway, we are sure to continue seeing the multidimensional sides of Kardashian — from a mother to a sister to an entrepreneur to a fashion figure.
