Live Like a Roy at NYC's Refinery Hotel

While the lives of the Roy family in HBO’s award-winning series Succession are far from perfect, the luxurious comforts are easy to envy. From private planes to 5-star hotel suites, who wouldn’t want to live like a Roy for a day? 

It’s the same question that Refinery Hotel asked and answered. The hotel’s new "Refine Like a Roy” package offers guests the opportunity to experience the pleasures of dynastic wealth with the family drama that comes with it. 

Beginning with a pick-up in a Blade helicopter from the airport, visitors become a part of the Manhattan skyline as they are transported to Hudson Yards. (Because why wait in hour-long traffic when a helicopter takes 10 minutes?) There, a Mercedes Maybach, courtesy of Paris Limousines, awaits your arrival to bring you to your final destination. From there, the car service will drop you off at the hotel to begin a two-night stay in your “Safe Room.” Upon entry, your atelier suite is filled with themed accents: Roy family photos (including some of their best lines from the show), a spread of caviar from Pearl Street Caviar and a chilled bottle of champagne, and luxe white robes with your initials embroidered on for a personal touch.

Going all in on the Succession theme, in-room dining meals have been renamed to fit the mood: Waystar Wagyu Beef Tartare, King Kendall Crab, and a signature “F--- Off" cocktail. However, those who prefer to dine in the company of the middle class can enjoy the delectable bites available at the Refinery Rooftop (where, rest assured, everything on the menu is worth trying) or Parker & Quinn, the American restaurant and bar connected to the hotel. Or make a Kendall-style stealth business deal over a cocktail at Winnie's Jazz Bar.
