Sneak Peek "Emily in Paris": The outfits we can look forward to in season 4

Emily in Paris is one of those series in which the protagonists' outfits play just as big a role as the story itself. In addition to entertaining scenes from Emily's everyday work life, her love life or that of the supporting actors, the word fashion is given a lot of importance. No wonder: After all, it is in Paris - the city of love AND fashion. In the new season, however, there will also be a trip to Rome.

Season 3 ended with a nasty cliffhanger. A canceled wedding and a pregnant Camille! According to Netflix, the fourth season is expected to air in autumn 2024. Some sneak peaks of the filming are already being shown on the official Instagram account of Emily in Paris and those of the actors. And we are also allowed to get a little insight into the wardrobe of Lily Collins and her colleagues.

Stylist Marylin Fitoussi is dropping the colour pink in season 4. Because like the characters, the looks should also evolve, and cuts and colours should not be repeated. And so we can look forward to a few surprises (like a three-piece pantsuit with a London Carnaby Street vibe).

On April 2, 2024, Lily Collins was accompanied by French First Lady Brigitte Macron during filming. There is already speculation that the wife of President Emmanuel Macron will make an appearance in the series. Lily wears a brown wool cape from Yves Saint Laurent's 1976 Russian collection. Her calf leather loafers by Tod's feature shearling trim and a horsebit accent. She holds a matching Brilliant Teddy Bag by Delvaux.

And for anyone who wants to know what Lily is wearing under the stylish wool cape from YSL: A burgundy leather jacket from Jean Patou. She pairs it with a checked orange miniskirt from Marni and burgundy tights.

Based on everything we've seen so far, we're assuming that the Parisian fashion style will be at the forefront of the upcoming season. That means classic pieces like trench coats, striped sweaters and berets will be cleverly used in Emily's outfits. She'll certainly also be inspired by Italian fashion on her trip to Rome.

Otherwise, there will also be more neutral colours in simple silhouettes. Emily's fashion is influenced by her everyday life - and therefore also by her relationships. But we can definitely look forward to experimental outfits!
