Lindsay Lohan stars in streaming's new Christmas Movie. A romantic comedy, the first project in a three-film deal for Netflix.&nbsp;

Lindsay Lohan is back in the movies and starring in a new Christmas movie. The actress, immortalized by " Mean Girls " is the protagonist of Netflix's new Christmas romantic comedy, "Falling for Christmas".&nbsp;
In the plot, we will see Lindsay as heiress to a hotel empire in the perfect setting for holiday romantic comedies: a ski resort on Christmas Eve.

The first images of the Lindsay Lohan Christmas Movie have already been released and show Lindsay Lohan next to Chord Overstreet, the romantic partner of the actress in the feature. The premiere date was also revealed, and it arrives earlier than expected: November 10th.
Just like Netflix, Lindsay Lohan made the announcement on social networks and joked about the date, in a direct reference to the star's most successful film, "Mean Girls".

The new project is Lindsay Lohan's first significant role since 2013, when she starred in Paul Scharader's "The Canyons". Since then, the only roles he has played are in the 2015 short film, "Till Human Voices Wake Us" and a supporting role in the independent horror film "Among the Shadows".
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">What is known about film?</h3>
Lindsay is Sierra, a spoiled hotel heiress and recently engaged. She is injured in a skiing accident on Christmas Eve, which leaves her with amnesia. Under the care of Jake (Chord Overstreet), a handsome ski resort owner, and his daughter, she begins treatment.

"It's a refreshingly heartwarming romantic comedy, and I miss doing those kinds of movies," Lindsay Lohan said of the film in an interview with Netflix.
Still according to the actress, the film also allowed her to experience things that she had not yet done in the cinema.
"All the stunt scenes were really fun for me because I haven't been able to do that much in a lot of my movies... When I fly off the hill, I try to ski well and I can't," he said.
In addition to starring in this Lindsay Lohan Christmas Movie, she also produced the film alongside director Janeen Damian. This is the first project of the three-film contract with the streaming platform. Lindsay Lohan will also star in "Irish Wish", with a debut scheduled only for 2023.
