COLLECTIBLE: the art fair returns to Brussels in a new emblematic location
The international fair dedicated to contemporary collectible design is back for a 6th edition in a brand new emblematic place in Brussels: the Sheds of Tour & Taxis.
Notice to art lovers! COLLECTIBLE , the international platform highlighting the best of contemporary collectible design, is returning to Brussels from March 9 to 12. This time, the event is leaving the Vanderbroght area to settle in the Sheds of Tour & Taxis , with some major new features on the program.
On the occasion of its 6th edition, COLLECTIBLE launches three new sections: NEW GARDE , which will highlight the best of the new galleries, designers and collectives recently launched. ARCHITECT <=> DESIGNER , which will be dedicated exclusively to architects and interior designers showing pieces of furniture, selected by Nicolas Schuybroek. And finally DIALOGUE , which invites, under the curatorship of Jean-François Declercq , galleries to present works from the 80s and 90s in dialogue with contemporary pieces. The CURATED section invites this year the international artist and designer Leo Orta . "What is your story?" will present a focus on the collaborations and co-constructions that a new generation of artists, designers and architects are developing in order to generate a new collective dynamic. An event not to be missed which is likely to stir up Brussels during the three days of the exhibition.
