Printed in the colours of Indian landscapes, the Dior Maison collection enchants with brightly coloured porcelain decorated with Toile de Jouy-style jungle, animal prints and multicoloured flowers. The author of the collection, Maria Grazia Chiuri, creative director of the fashion house, created sets of plates in different colours, lacquered bamboo trays shining in dazzling colours, candles smelling of spices and pears and decorative cushions blooming with flowers.
The collection is dominated by bright fuchsia pink, rich orange, yellow and ocean blue. Two types of patterns were chosen for the interior details - intertwining flowers, flora motifs and Toile de Jouy scenes of jungle life with tigers, elephants and peacocks. A minimalist style, but a special product of the collection, are glass vases created in collaboration with the Manufacture des Émaux de Longwy, founded as far back as 1798.
