THE BVLGARI "METAMORPHOSIS SNAKES" EXHIBITION

The AI data sculpture, commissioned by the Roman fashion house and created by award-winning new media artist and filmmaker Refik Anadol , represents the second chapter of a journey that began last year in Milan's Piazza Duomo , where it was unveiled for the first time. The event also represents the first in a long series of celebrations planned for 2023, the year of the 75th anniversary of the legendary Bulgari Serpenti icon.

The Serpenti Metamorphosis exhibition will open its doors to the public from November 25th and will lead visitors through an immersive journey, a combination of art and technology. The multimedia artwork created by artificial intelligence is the result of algorithms that process 200 million images of nature. By transforming nature into data and data into abstract and poetic images, Anadol offers an exciting and multi-sensory interpretation of the concept of metamorphosis understood as the passage from one form to another.

To complete the immersive experience, the display has been enriched with images and sketches from the Bulgari Serpenti archive which interact with an exclusive selection of Serpenti jewelery and watch creations from the 1940s to the present day, perfectly illustrating the never-ending evolution of the icon and its deep bond with the female world.

The exhibition will be at the Saatchi Gallery in London from 25 November to 23 December in Gallery 3 with free admission bookable on Bulgari.com.
