The Sandbox Launches L'OFFICIEL LAND
L'OFFICIEL is embracing the metaverse by collaborating with The Sandbox on a new virtual space that brings our century-old history to the digital age.
L’OFFICIEL’s Land has arrived on The Sandbox, and this image is a sneak preview. Part of L’OFFICIEL’s launch into the future and created by Benjamin Eymère, Chief Metaverse Officer of AMTD group together with the founders of The Sandbox, a decentralized virtual space that has previously collaborated with brands like Gucci, Adidas and more, this virtual space was born from a widening digital frontier, and the challenge presented by finding a new way to convey editorial content.
Inspired by sci-fi films like Dune and Total Recall, the space opens up a dialogue between different worlds, translated into a unique desert landscape by Renaissance NFT. The L’OFFICIEL Land acts as an open-air exhibition, a digital theater in which to give new life to content created throughout our 100 years of history, as well as to that which is still to come.

L'OFFICIEL Land is the kick-off to the magazine’s newest Metaverse Issue which focuses on luxury fashion's space in Web3 and how the NFTs and digital artists are taking over the art world by encouraging brands to embrace virtual reality.
