The Fashion Awards 2024: The Winners and the Most Beautiful Looks on the Red Carpet

The Fashion Awards 2024 , the annual event organised by the British Fashion Council to raise funds for the future of British fashion, took place at the Royal Albert Hall in London . The evening was a celebration of British style, innovation and creativity, with a lineup of celebrities and designers that brought the fashion world together in the English capital. Winning the Designer of the Year award - among prestigious nominees such as Miuccia Prada , John Galliano and Kim Jones - was the creative director of Loewe and JW Anderson , Jonathan Anderson .

The Model of the Year award went to Alex Consani , who was among the loudest cheers of the London evening. “I am the first trans woman to win this award,” she said upon receiving the award, thanking black transgender women who “fought to create the space I am in today.”

Two designers shaping contemporary aesthetics take home the British Menswear and Womenswear Designer Awards: Grace Wales Bonner and Simone Rocha . The ceremony also saw the awarding of honorary prizes, such as the Outstanding Achievement Award to Tom Ford for his extraordinary career, during which the designer created his eponymous brand and brought brands such as Yves Saint Laurent and Gucci into the contemporary world.

Gucci received a special recognition for the Cruise 2025 collection campaign "We Will Always Have London", a tribute to the British capital directed by photographer Nan Goldin. Finally, the awards for entrepreneurs Remo Ruffini , CEO of Moncler , honored with the Trailblazer Award and Margaret Barbour , president of the famous brand J Barbour & Sons, who was celebrated for over 50 years of leadership in British fashion.
