This Fendi Baguette bag with a punkish allure will be the bag of the winter
A Fendi Baguette with a punk flavour is born in Scotland . The Roman fashion house stops in the north of Great Britain in search of artisanal excellence with the "Hand in Hand" initiative , with a project focused on tartan, the Scottish fabric par excellence, historically used by clans as a symbol of belonging and identity. With Prickly Thistle - the brand founded by Clare Campbell and specialized in the design and production of wool fabric -, the fashion house founded in 1925 has created a tartan that wraps the it-bag born from the creative flair of Silvia Venturini Fendi 27 years ago. The blocks of colour that are repeated vertically and horizontally in the distinctive design of squares and lines blend the colours and dates that are symbols of the fashion house in this Baguette. From the number five representing the Fendi sisters to the tobacco brown of the logo, up to the dates of the foundation of Fendi (1925) and the launches of the Baguette (1997) and Peekaboo (2008) bags. Each bag is finished with a pleated motif and small buckles on the sides that are intended, as explained by the house, to "emphasize the punk spirit." The shoulder strap is designed to resemble a belt, in brown leather with two rows of eyelets and a buckle to adjust its length.
