The show has in fact gathered a myriad of stars and celebrities - coming from all over the world from Triennale Milano for the women's show for spring summer 2025. Arriving you can feel the warmth of the audience, the screams of the fans waiting for the special guests of the Sabato De Sarno show : first of all Jin from BTS the actress and cover star of L'OFFICIEL Dakota Johnson , the "Sesso e Samba" couple composed of Tony Effe and Gaia and the Italian tennis champion number one in the world Jannik Sinner.
"A precise moment in time, an instant to seize and live intensely. It is the sun that dips into the sea at the end of an August day. It is finding yourself. The collection is a tribute to those moments and an invitation to stop, in search of your own" explains Sabato De Sarno, the creative director of Gucci . At the entrance, a long corridor of colors opens up, ranging from white to shades of orange-red until reaching Gucci Rosso Ancora.
A year later, this collection tells the story of a completed construction journey. Moment after moment, I sedimented my idea for Gucci. A casual grandeur that takes shape through my obsessions - tailoring, lingerie, leather, 60s silhouettes - combined with a tireless exploration of the heritage of this brand. And an irreverent attitude, always" Sabato De Sarno
Naturally, casual looks follow, re-proposed in a renewed version. Essential tailoring with trousers cut on sneakers, a colour palette of grey tones, shades of acid green and orange. The silhouettes cite the Sixties with structured jackets, couture coats and trapeze minidresses. The GG Monogram is renewed, as well as the glossy leather, the bamboo details and the horsebit that is reprised with an all-over pattern.
The show closes with the song "Non voglio mica luna" by Fiordaliso - also sitting among the special guests in the first row - which perfectly frames De Sarno's message that teaches us to appreciate the special moments in our lives.
