Tyla, FKA Twigs and Caroline Polachek star in H&M's Spring/Summer 2025 collection
H&M celebrates modern femininity for Spring 2025 with a 70s-inspired collection, worn by iconic music stars.
For Spring 2025, H&M unveils a collection as bold as it is inspiring, paying homage to modern femininity through a vibrant campaign, fronted by essential musical icons. Tyla, FKA Twigs , Caroline Polachek , and the Ibeyi sisters, among others, gracefully embody the spirit of this new era of fashion, where music and style meet in perfect harmony.
At the heart of this collection is a powerful creative vision that highlights H&M 's heritage: a unique fusion of fashion and music. The spirit of this season is inspired by the great figures of the 70s, those rock and music divas who left their mark with their bold and timeless style. Drawing on these influences, the collection subtly blends past and present in an ethereal bohemian dance, with hints of glam rock and New Romanticism.
A campaign celebrating sisterhood
Eliana Masgalos, Design Lead Womenswear at H&M, explains: "This season, we drew inspiration from sisterhood to create a campaign that showcases inspiring women. With this collection, we wanted to play with a nostalgic bohemian spirit mixed with a more urban 90s retro trend, keeping in mind rock icons known for their style, and the desire for looks perfect for attending music festivals."
A feminine and liberated aura permeates each piece of the collection . Light and transparent chiffon blouses blend with ruffled shirts and lace-up tunics, creating a subtle balance between sensuality and fluidity. Finely worked crochet short dresses, A-line or pleated miniskirts, adorned with lace ruffles, bring a touch of romanticism and elegance. Leather safari jackets and studded blazers, resolutely 70s, are part of a bold and resolutely feminine style, while accessories, like fringed bags and biker boots, complete this rebellious aesthetic.
A celebration of fashion and music with the Los Angeles Festival
After setting London, New York and Paris alight, H&M 's Spring/Summer 2025 collection will culminate on April 9 in Los Angeles, with a major festival celebrating the intersection of fashion and music . This exceptional event will offer guests the opportunity to enjoy captivating performances by American rapper Doechii , Swedish pop star Robyn, and a DJ set by the talented Jamie xx. The event will pay tribute to the influence of Los Angeles, a city of the avant-garde where fashion, film and music have intertwined for decades.
H&M continues to merge universes and explore new creative avenues , solidifying its role as a bridge between the art of living and the musical world. The festival will be a tribute to the city of angels, but also to this generation of modern and daring women who, through their music and style, embody the new icons of the 21st century.
With this collection, H&M offers much more than just a piece of clothing: it offers a vision of the future, where each piece becomes a mark of personality.
