HOMOLOG: When the forest turns into clothing art Couture

Led by Chinese designer Emily Cheong, the highly artistic HOMOLOG show was inspired by the elements of the forest — infusing natural elements into apparel designs, amidst rural and floral references.

The Couture by HOMOLOG collection was unveiled in the very chic Le Bristol palace. Through it, designer Emily Cheong wanted to convey a deep reflection on the environment , humanity and culture, exploring the multiple dimensions of how we understand nature and how we relate to it. Through Couture, the artistic director used fashion as a way to express the possibility for individuals to discover their true selves by immersing themselves in a forest. In doing so, she called on humanity to engage in an instinctive dialogue with nature, to reclaim memories and contemplate the meaning of existence.

This is how the HOMOLOG Couture Fall 2023 show is testimony that the harmonious coexistence of fashion and environmental awareness is possible. This desire is all the stronger when we know that the designer Emily Cheong , in addition to her role as a stylist, is also the general secretary of the International Institute of Well-being (IIWB) - a renowned philanthropic organization whose headquarters are located in Paris. The proof is that this fashion show finds its meaning in substance as well as in form. To meditate.
