Kim Jones officially leaves his position as Artistic Director at Fendi
Kim Jones and Fendi have announced that Kim Jones will step down as Artistic Director of Womenswear and Couture at Fendi to focus fully on his role as Artistic Director of Dior Men.
Since succeeding Karl Lagerfeld in September 2020, Kim Jones has made an outstanding contribution to Fendi, skillfully combining his modern, multicultural style with the brand's long-standing heritage. Under Kim's creative direction, Fendi's ready-to-wear and couture collections have been constantly reinvented, bringing diversity and creativity while still maintaining the brand's Italian fashion spirit. Over the past four years, Kim Jones' work has been inspired by passion and creativity.
Fendi also thanked Kim Jones for his inspiring creative vision and wished him well in his future projects with Dior Men. Bernard Arnault, Chairman and CEO of LVMH, shared: “Kim Jones is a talented designer who has brought a unique and multicultural vision to Fendi over the past four years. I thank him for his contributions and look forward to continuing to witness his creativity at Dior Men.”
A new Fendi creative team will be announced in due course.
