From their first introduction to the idea of a co-created collection, Kujten founders Carole Benaroya &amp; St&eacute;phanie Eriksson and Californian tattoo artist Dr Woo reveal more about this ultra-desirable capsule.&nbsp;

Everyone knows Kujten , the iconic cashmere brand known for its perfect cuts and cozy pieces that can be worn all year round. To celebrate the start of the cold season in style, the founders, Carole Benaroya and Stéphanie Eriksson , have surrounded themselves with an unexpected talent: Californian tattoo artist <a href="https://www.instagram.com/_dr_woo_?igsh=ZzdkemxzdGo2dWFm" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr Woo</a> , a true legend in Los Angeles. This unique alliance unites the hushed elegance of cashmere with the striking creativity of tattooing, creating a collection that combines luxury and art in a unique way. For the occasion, L&#39;OFFICIEL was able to meet the initiators of the project.

L’OFFICIEL: What was your first introduction to Dr. Woo? Carole Benaroya: I met Dr Woo&#39;s press officer at a dinner with friends two years ago. We started talking about a potential collaboration, because his world was shaking up the usual Parisian codes, and we loved the idea of infusing our collections with a certain LA spirit. LO: How are the worlds of tattooing and fashion so closely linked today? Dr Woo: It&#39;s about self-expression, fashion and tattoos are both extensions of your personality. They reflect to the world who you are. Fashion you wear, tattoos you wear in your skin. Carole Benaroya and Stéphanie Eriksson: (In unison) That&#39;s exactly it! LO: What values do you share? CB: Love of craftsmanship. SE: The finesse. DW: Attention to detail. LO: Can you tell us more about the collection? SE: We drew our inspiration from the US culture of the sixties, particularly from the youth of the late 60s. We sought to offer iconic pieces of the time such as the Varsity Jacket, the shirt, the bandana, or the jumpsuit. We have a total of 15 unisex pieces and accessories, which combine the finesse of Kujten cashmere with Dr Woo&#39;s designs. The palette ranges from black and white to a few oranges, browns and reds. LO: What is your favorite piece? DW: The <a href="https://www.kujten.com/p/veste-valley-12386.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Valley cardigan</a> ! I love the very fine hand embroidery that contrasts with the chunky and comfortable look of the garment. SE: The <a href="https://www.kujten.com/p/veste-grizzly-12383.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Grizzly Varsity Jacket</a> , since I love the idea of wearing a vintage piece, revisited in cashmere. CB: For my part, the <a href="https://www.kujten.com/p/t-shirt-rivastral-12400.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rivastral cashmere t-shirt</a> , oversized, in black or white, which is a real basic with a twist. LO: If you could describe Kujten x Dr Woo in a few words? DW: Comfort, creativity, luxury. SE: An unexpected fusion of paisley and tattoo. CB: A bold collaboration!
