Light Pink Leads: Healing Colours Redefine Spring/Summer 2025
At the beginning of the 2025 spring and summer season, light pink with a bright and sweet scent has become increasingly popular. In a rapidly changing world, designers have applied this colour with the power to heal people's hearts to different materials and styles. Tranquility and happiness have become the keywords of this season's fashion trends.

In Alaïa's 2025 Spring/Summer New York Fashion Show, Creative Director Pieter Mulier took Cecil Beaton's 1948 photograph "Charles James's Evening Dress" as inspiration and brought a spring/summer women's wear series with soft tones and unique shapes. In the series, the light pink taffeta dress has a soft luster, and the fluffy skirt is like a pink cloud, paired with a sculptural bra shape, which retains the classical elegance while giving fashion a modern interpretation.
On the other hand, Japanese brand Anrealage explored the relationship between technology and fashion. The brand used an airtight fabric that is only one-third the diameter of a hair and combined it with an inflation process. After inflation, the clothing becomes a three-dimensional geometric shape, and the light "bubbles" surround the body. The light pink and light blue colour palette adds a bit of childishness to the entire series.
Giambattista Valli and Brandon Maxwell used large areas of light pink fabrics this season. The three-dimensional tailoring method enhanced the original charm of the fashion. The fresh colours and naturally draped pleats not only showed the romantic feelings of women, but also presented a modern and relaxed fashion attitude.
