The 5th Miu Miu Upcycled collection puts denim in the spotlight
The Italian brand persists and signs with this fifth committed collection, which once again revolves around denim, The material renowned for its durability and appreciated for its unique patina which develops over time.
Always cooler, Miu Miu continues to make an impression. Its latest autumn-winter 24-25 collection presented a collection where the child woman became more adult through her clothes. Obviously no one missed the comeback of skinny jeans worn with a short straight jacket, demure moccasins and super shinny faux fur. It is therefore almost obvious that the brand would continue its momentum with its Miu Miu Upcycled initiative. Launched in 2020, it celebrates vintage fashion and encourages circular design practices. For this collection, the original garments were meticulously researched from experts around the world, deconstructed and then reimagined into a super easy-to-wear wardrobe. Short straight jacket, super low-rise wide-leg jeans, cut-off micro-shirts, A-line mini skirt and scarf-style top. The details that make the difference are the closing buttons – carefully removed then put back in place – engraved with the Miu Miu brand but above all the signature suede border, very seventies cowboy .
