When we think of Moschino , many remember that playful and original world founded by Franco Moschino in the early 1980s. The maison then became, with the passage of time, the absolute symbol of the three 'i' looks: ironic, unpredictable and irreverent. Classic shapes, seductive and perfect cuts able to enhance the woman, the story of a maison that has managed to subvert the rules of Italian fashion.
"There is no freedom without chaos" declared Franco Moschino, and that chaos - albeit in a different era - this Italian fashion house continues to tell.
After Franco Moschino 's death, in September 1994, the brand passed into the hands of Rossella Jardini. Today Moschino, since 2013, is the result of the creative flair of another designer: the American Jeremy Scott.

Just like his founding father, with Moschino also Scott literally loves to make fun of the fashion system . He did so also during this Milan fashion week, presenting semi-couture dresses in bright colors and 'bouncy' details on the catwalk. In fact, to embellish Scott's looks for Moschino's next Spring Summer 2023 are donuts, bomber jackets and details of jackets inspired by colorful sea floats.
Could this be the future of fashion? No more goose down but air? It would certainly be much more sustainable and less impacting on the environment.
