Sun, wind, sea and the hottest accessories of the summer from the LOEWE Paula's Ibiza
Summer is more a state of mind than a destination; it's an energy that flows through a city, or a holiday. That's the spirit of this season's LOEWE Paula's Ibiza 2025 collection, inspired by Paula's, an iconic and beloved destination on the island.
The visual series, shot by Gray Sorrenti, captures the spirit of being one with nature, and features a talented cast, including musician and LOEWE Brand Ambassador GISELLE, actors Sophie Wilde, Enzo Vogrincic and Jamie Dornan. Individuals are depicted on the beach; the light shifts through each moment of the day, from dusk to dawn – everyday life on the island.
In this energetic series, strong colours and contrasts of light and shadow are elevated to an aesthetic level. Landscapes and nature – such as a dry branch or a fence – surround the main characters as they enjoy connecting with nature. Still lifes have a similar atmosphere, with bags and sunglasses lying on sand, in grass, hanging from fences or on the edge of ruins.
The collection showcases a premium wardrobe that evokes playful freedom through flowing silhouettes, hand-crafted embellishments, compasses and feathers. The prints are inspired by the rich flora of the island. Knitwear dresses and tops are draped and layered, with lace linings and fringes. Soft and comfortable, men’s denim comes in solid or printed styles, while women’s denim surprises with pastel tones.
Raffia bags such as the new Ola, which combine traditional techniques and a wavy silhouette with a short donut-shaped chain, demonstrate LOEWE’s passion for craftsmanship. The hand-woven raffia technique is further highlighted in the Punch Hole, made from thick rope braid with a raw leather strap, while the Punch Hole Hobo is softer, with a loose crochet weave and leather patchwork. The new Featherlight Puzzle mini, baskets, boxes and small bags are inspired by the garden with floral and bee embroidery. Handcrafted handbag charms in the form of flowers and clusters of tomatoes are glossy. Beetles adorn the pieces like tiny jewels.
Rainbow footwear, including Rio suede sandals with hand-embroidered raffia, Anagram low-heeled sandals and the new Petal espadrille, reinterprets traditional Spanish style with an authentic LOEWE signature. The playful energy is echoed by prints paying homage to the American rock band Grateful Dead, alongside fruit and vegetable charms. A denim bucket hat or rainbow beaded hats complete the look, paired with bold oversized frames or Daisy Field sunglasses with floral embellishments.
LOEWE continues to support the local communities that hand-knit the bags. Ongoing donations are helping to build a craft school in Madagascar and provide university scholarships in Colombia. The LOEWE Paula's Ibiza collection launches on April 17 in stores and on the brand's official website.
