Re-markable shoe: the new Veja x Marni collaboration
The eco-conscious sneakers joins the brand led by Francesco Risso to give life to the autumn / winter 2022 collection with markers.
After last year's collaboration, Veja and Marni are back with a new drop of daywear sneakers made of sustainable leather. Two famous models are involved, the low-top V-10 and the high-top V-15 in the white version, which are interpreted just as if they were white canvases with chromatic and abstract graphics, restoring the Marni attitude to the shoes. The “Scribble” motif appears on the upper, completely covering the sneaker's leather silhouette to emphasize the construction of the Veja.

From the collaboration emerge the stylistic codes and DIY influences of Francesco Risso , creative director of Marni , combined with the badges of Veja. Each constructive element of the sneaker design is filled with scribbles made with felt-tip pen and printed on the surface of the shoe with a composite version with chromatic clash and combined or black versions. Each pair is assembled by hand, combining craftsmanship and industrial work, with the right shoe different from the left to further accentuate the originality of the design.
