"I have a very strong bond with the Hamptons," says the young woman. “I've been going there every weekend for five years to visit Theo's mother who lives there. And water is fundamental to my balance. »
This collection imagined by Virginie Viard is revealed here through an album of vacation photos, between the hammock, the pontoon and the beach. White, black and pink adorn the terrycloth outfits, velvet jumpsuits, tweed mini dresses and nineties cut swimsuits. "This shoot reminded me of what I felt when I came here for the first time ," says Vivienne Rohner. Before traveling to the United States, we watch all these films about New York, the East Coast or even California, and we have this image in mind that does not reflect the reality of everyday life. Conversely, the Hamptons really correspond to the image I had of it, to this dream of a white house by the water… It's such a preppy place. »
